BRIDGES

1. WHEAT STONE BRIDGE (VWB-01)                                                       [TOC]

This trainer is designed to study the working principle of the bridge and to find the unknown values of Medium resistances (50S-1MS)

  Four arms with one unknown arm to connect the unknown resistance

  Two range selection arms provided to select the nearest range of unknown value.

  Range of Measurement :  50S - 1MS

  Accuracy (Min to Max.) :   ±0.2,  ± 5S

  Tolerance : ±5%

  Galvanometer (Range : -10V to +10V) provided to indicate the Balance conditions

  Built-in power supply

  Built-in Attractive power coated cabinet with mimic logic.

2. KELVIN'S DOUBLE BRIDGE [VKB-02]                                                    [TOC]

This bridge is designed to study the working principle and to find the unknown value of low value resistances.

  Four primary arms provided to balance the bridge (Two arms are range selections)

  Two secondary arms are provided for range adjustment.

  Provisions to connect the unknown resistance at one arm

  Range of Measurement : 0.1S - 10S

  Tolerance : ±5%

  Connector provisions to connect the standard value of unknown resistance externally.

  All are housed in a powder coated cabinet with mimic logic

3. MAXWELL'S INDUCTANCE BRIDGE [VMIB-03]                                        [TOC]

This trainer is designed to study the unknown Inductance value of range of Q factor below 10.

  One arm with provisions to detect the nearest Range of unknown inductance.

  Two arms with variable potentiometers given to

   balance the bridge in null condition

  One 1 KHz oscillator of fixed amplitude to feed the

   input to the bridge.

  One audio amplifier with speaker to detect the bridge balancing conditions.

  Four arms provided with suitable connectors

  Tolerance : ±5%

  Built-in power supply

  Connector facility given to view the output of the bridge externally by CRO

  All are housed in a power coated cabinet with logical

   diagram.

   Range : 15mH - 190mH

4. ANDERSON BRIDGE [VAB-04]                                                                [TOC]

This bridge is designed to study the working principle and also to find the unknown inductance in the range of 25mH to 500mH.

  4 Main arms with 2 adjacent arms with suitable terminal connectors

  Two variable resistances provided to keep the bridge in balance condition.

  Input to the bridge is taken from a 1KHz Oscillator with fixed amplitude.

  Measuring Range : 25mH - 500mH

  Sensitivity : ±2mH

  Audio amplifier with miniature speaker provision given to find the point of balance.

5. HAY'S BRIDGE [VHB - 05]:                                                                               [TOC]

This trainer provides the facility to study the basic principle and to find the unknown Inductance value of Q-factor above 10.

   Four arm Bridge with suitable connectors

  One arm with fixed resistors provided to select the nearest range of the unknown Inductance

  Measuring Range : 1mH - 999mH.

  Sensitivity : ± 5mH

  One variable potentiometer to balance the bridge in Null condition

  Input to the bridge is taken from a 1KHz Oscillator with fixed amplitude

  One Audio amplifier with miniature speaker provisions acts as a balance detector.

  All components are mounted in a metallic cabinet with mimic logic

6. DESAUTY'S BRIDGE [VDB-06]                                                                          [TOC]

This trainer is designed to study the working principle and to find the unknown value of capacitance of range 0.001µF to 1µF.

  4 Arms with suitable connector provisions

  One arm with fixed range of capacitors provided to detect the nearest unknown capacitance

  Two arms with potentiometers provided to balance the bridge

  Measurement Range : 0.001µF to 1µF

  Sensitivity : ±0.03µF

  Input to the bridge is taken from a 1KHz oscillator with fixed amplitude.

  One Audio amplifier with miniature speaker to detect the balance condition of the bridge

  All components are housed in a metallic cabinet.

7. SCHERING BRIDGE [VSB-07]                                                                           [TOC]

This trainer is designed to study the working principle and to find the unknown value of capacitance of range .001µF to 2µF.

  4 arm with suitable connectors provided

  Provision to connect the unknown capacitance at one arm

Two potentiometers provided at two arms to obtain the bridge balance condition.

  Input of the bridge is taken from a 1KHz fixed amplitude Oscillator.

  One audio amplifier with miniature speaker is provided  to detect the bridge balance condition acoustically.

  Measuring Range : 0.001µF - 0.22 µF

  Sensitivity : ±0.1µF

  Tolerance : ±5%

  All are housed in a metal cabinet
