          Computer based Data Acquisition Application Trainer [CDAAT-02] is a Stand alone and connected to an IBM PC Computer with a RS232 or RS485 interface, Data Acquisition and Control Trainer also provides features like

  •  4-20mA inputs - Digital Input

  •  4-20mA outputs - Digital Output

  •  0-5 Volt inputs - Relay card

  •  ±5V inputs - Measurement of voltage,

  •  ±10V inputs - Current, Reactance,  diode check & continuity

The ViDAS Software gives full studying to student on

  1.  Data Acquisition

  2.  Data Measuring

  3.  Data Display

  4.  Data Analysis

The following cards and Software are used for this Trainer.

3.1 8051 CPU CARD                                                                                                [TOC]

  •  Intel 51 Microcontroller

  •  8 KB RAM & 8 KB EPROM Expandable upto 32KB

  •  One RS232 Serial port

  •  "9" Pin D' Male Connector to serial interface with PC (RS232/RS485)

  •   2 LEDs for Transmit and Receive data

  •  50 Pin FRC connector (VPC BUS) for interfacing ADD ON Card Like VAPC-001, VAPC-002 etc

   DEVELOPMENT SOFTWARE

        VPC - 51 should be connected to the PC through serial port and all software development is done under window 95/98

  1.  8031/51 monitor program (Fill, Move, copy, sub, compare etc.,);

  2.  Debugger (Run, Single step, Break points etc.,)

  3.  Two Pass Assembler

3.2. 12 BIT INTEGRATING ADC CARD                                                                      [TOC]

  •  8 Channel Single ended Analog Inputs Range : ±5V

  •  Dual Slope ramp type, conversion Speed 7 Sample /Sec

  •  2 Channel Analog Inputs can be configured as 4-20mA Inputs.

  •  Analog Inputs are Connected at terminal connection

  •  VPC Bus Compatible.

3.3. MEASUREMENT CARD                                                                                      [TOC]

  •  Designed to work with ADC card

  •  Matrix of 10 relays for voltage, current Resistance, Diode check and continuity measurements

3.4. 12 BIT DAC CARD                                                                                              [TOC]

  •  12 bit 2 channel DAC

  •  ±5 volt Analog output

  •  Two channel DAC can be configured as 4-20mA or ±5 volt output

  •  VPC bus compatible

  •  All the outputs are terminated at screw type connectors.

  •  24 digital Input lines

  •  Input Voltage Levels : 0, 5 Volts

  •  All the lines are terminated at FRC connector or Dual Row Headers

  •  Signal Grounds are given in between digital output lines.

  •  Pulsed current : 20 Amps, Continuous 5A

  •  All relays are driven by open collector drivers

  •  Each Relay contacts are terminated at the connectors

3.8. SIGNAL CONDITIONER MODULE                                                                         [TOC]

  •  One signal conditioner for TC (0-5 Volt output)

  •  One Signal conditioner for RTDC (4-20mA output)

  •  2 SPDT switch to demonstrate digital inputs.

  •  2 Nos of 24 volt lamps to demonstrate the digital inputs.

  •  2 Nos of LEDs to demonstrate the digital outputs.

  •  2 Potentiometers provided to output 0-5 volt,±10volt to feed analog inputs.
