    4.7. 8051 BASED CAPACITANCE MEASUREMET                                      [TOC]

This consists of one 8051 CPU card (VPC 051) and one Capacitance measurement card.

The embedded software measures the capacitance, displays on a LCD Display or on the PC screen.

It consists of :

  • 8051 CPU with 8KB User RAM, 32KB EPROM by using VPC-051

  • Based on charging the capacitance using Analog switches, the capacitance is measured by measuring the time constant using VAPC 019

   4.8. RS485 NETWORK BASED DATA ACQUISITION SYSTEM                      [TOC]  

This application is meant for multiple Data Acquisition or Intelligent Control system to be networked by the industry standard RS485 with a protocol for sending and receiving data over RS485 and to PC. This system consists of 2 nos. of 8051 Systems with ADC, DAC & DIO etc.

This can be expandable upto 32 systems.

This consists of a 8051 CPU Card with a signal conditioner for the signal of which the frequency to be measured. The frequency range is 0-100 Hz.
