Matrox provides a variety of softwares for end users to perform analysis
with the captured Image. The Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) is a SDK to develop
specific application softwares can be used for such applications or projects
like determining the dimension of a moving bottle or size of the apple on a
moving conveyer belt or edge detection/pattern matching of a object image etc.,
The following softwares works with METEOR -II

(Academic Software) - Users can develop their own projector applications
and perform analysis with the captured Image. MIL is a high-level programming
library with an extensive set of optimized functions for image capture,
transfer, processing (point-to-point) statistcs, filtering, morphology,
geometric transforms, FFT, JPEG codec, and segmentation), pattern matching, blob
analysis, gauging, calibration, bar and matrix code reading, OCR, graphics, and
display.

2.MIL-LITE/ACTIVE MIL-LITE:

(Academic Software) - This is a reduced version of MIL and can be used for
Image capture & display. The MIL-LITE is a reduced software package that allows the user to grab
the image of any object, transfer it to the PC and display the captured object.
Some basic manipulation of the captured object can be performed. Using Visual
C++ or Visual Basic applications can be designed to perform limited image
analysis on the captured object.

3.INSPECTOR-32/CD [Version 3.0]

(Academic Software) - Consists of some predefined applications sets of the
most commonly used function for Image Processing, Pattern matching,
gauging/measurement etc., The Matrox inspector contains a tool-set of the most
commonly used function for Image Processing, gauging/measurement, patter
matching etc., After Image is captured (Realtime or from TV/VCR) user can digitize the
image, perform loading, saving, conversion, compression, enhancement, analysis
and inspector of the captured object.

Note : The Driver software for Windows 95/98 & NT are builtin in to
the above softwares. Any one of the software should be purchased along with the
card.
