56BASIC EXPERIMENT BOARDS FOR THE MICROPROCESSOR KITS

(VBMB SERIES)

Vi Microsystems offers 3 types of Experiment boards for the Microprocessor lab namely,

 i) VBMB Series

ii) 8255 Parallel Port based

iii) Non-Bus based stand alone series

The VBMB series of Experiment boards directly interface to CPU bus through a 50 pin FRC Connector. The 8255 parallel port based Experiment boards interface to 8255 port through a 26 pin FRC Connector. The Non-bus based is the stand alone Trainer board or Products The VBMB series of boards act as a very powerful Experiment Modules for the Beginners/Students,

i) To learn the use of the microprocessor peripheral devices.
ii) For an in depth understanding on the programming flexibility of the peripheral devices.
iii) To interface the peripherals to the external world.
iv) To debug the Hardware Circuitry.

All the VBMB boards can be interfaced to any of our Microprocessor/Microcontroller kits using an unique Bus namely VXT-Bus. Most of the VBMB Boards can also be interfaced to an IBM PC through our VAD-107 Board.

8255 Parallel port based Experiment boards are cost effective, works thorough 8255 port and it can be interfaced with an IBM PC through our VAD-125 card. The Non-Bus based Experiment boards, Trainers etc. are works in standalone mode. It needs an external power supply.
